Penicuik North Kirk has joined other denominations in the area to take a stand against debt and poverty by joining forces with a local credit union to bring fair and affordable savings, mortgages and loans to church members and the wider community.
Capital Credit Union – an experienced Edinburgh-based financial co-operative – will launch its partnership with Penicuik North Kirk, St Mungo's and St James the Less tomorrow at the Church of Scotland Kirk. Volunteers from these churches will help run the union.
