Dr Jacqueline Primrose

Dr. Jacqueline Primrose qualified from Glasgow University in 1985 with a BSc Hons in Physiology, and then again in 1992 with a PhD from the Medical Faculty.

Her doctoral research was completed in the Glasgow University Dental Hospital and School and was in the area of Cariogenicity (the study of dental caries).  She developed an in vitro test for foodstuffs to enable continuing research to the potential effects of individual foodstuffs on teeth without the need for either human or animal experimentation.  She delivered human physiology lectures to Dental Nursing students at Langside College.

Dr Primrose is currently serving as the Convenor of the Baptist Union of Scotland, one of the Office Bearers and part of the National Leadership Team.  She is an Elder and Church Secretary (similar to Session Clerk) in her home church (Tillicoultry Baptist Church). She enjoys reading, walking and current affairs and enjoys nice meals with family and friends.
