Dr Eric Stoddart
University of St Andrews
Eric Stoddart is currently lecturing at the University of St Andrews where he is an Associate Director of the Centre for the Study of Religion and Politics. He also co-ordinates the Surveillance and Religion Network – an international research network funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Eric has taught postgraduate modules exploring digital technology and cultures of surveillance from theological perspectives. He published the first book-length theological treatment of surveillance in 2011. He is currently writing on the relationship between the Common Good and 21st century systems of surveillance.
